Just saw this pretty nice digital piece from Magnum Ice cream (Unilever). Basically it’s a pacman with a hot girl going around the world using google maps or bing to navigate. You have a bunch of product integration’s within it also. Nice.
Check it out: http://pleasurehunt2.mymagnum.com
And thanks to K2 for sharing.

Google recently created a series around re-briefing some of the legendary ads of all time. Avis’ We try harder, Volvo’s Drive it like you hate it and Coke’s hilltop commercial. I think it’s quite interesting how you would work off the same brief today, with the same insight and end up somewhere quite differently…and the same.
In the Coke example the insight was something around uniting people. The US had just come out of the Vietnam war and Coke was, even back then, a truly global brand transcending borders and cultural differences. I’m not sure the execution is all that interesting. It seems a bit tech for the sake of tech to me. And naturally Google is all over the place. But it certainly is an interesting experiment.
Volvo: Drive it like you hate it.
They are updating the different solutions on projectrebrief.com, so drop by and see what they came up with for Avis and Alka Seltzer.
Enjoy.

The great Herminator just showed me this. Don’y know how I missed it. Really cool stuff from both Adidas and Nike. So Adidas are launching a football boot that will gather info on your game og practice session. As soon as you have finished playing, the boots will transmit the data wirelessly to your computer, phone or tablet. It records your speed, distance traveled and top speeds as well as monitoring everything you do at one second intervals. For more detail check out Simplyzesty.

And Nike to their Nike+ to a new level adding more sensors and more stuff you can measure.

I basketball shoes, the sport sensor uses pressure data in combination with an accelerometer to calculate your movement, that way Nike+ Sports Sensor can measure how high your vertical jump is, how fast you’re moving and how hard you’re working all in real time.
You can see more stuff on Gizmodo.
This is really cool. I’m stoked and will start playing both football and basketball immediately.
