Hey kids – it’s been a long time. Digital Vinyl has moved from Copenhagen to New York. So I’ve been busy. I just saw this on the Varoom Varoom Lounge and thought I would share. It’s pretty cool. SAS did an activation where couples simultaneously had to go through a few engaging steps to get an offer. Enjoy.
I’m still looking for really good commercial Twitter campaigns. Starbucks and other brands have shown how you can integrate Twitter in your business model, but just a really good plain old campaign. This is from Mercedes and was developed by Razorfish. I think it is interesting. It is quite tech reliant and must have been very expensive to develop. But it is pretty nice. Enjoy.
So they announced it. They’re testing it in San Francisco. Basically it works with Near Field Communication (NFC). So you just… buy a coke, hold your phone over the sensor – and it withdraws the money from your Mastercard. Smart and easy. Can’t wait till it gets here. Read more on TechCrunch.
Another very cool activation from Lynx – now using augmented reality in Victoria Street Station. I don’t know what the link to the brand is, but what the hell. It rocks…
And thanks to the very talented Fun Flinck for bringing this to our attention.
Now this just brings tears to the eyes of an old Starwars mega fan. Yes I have the Ewok Village, the Millenium Falcon, the Imperial shuttle and about 40 of the finest action figures plastic can make. My favorite… Boba Fett.
Anyways, when I drink Tequila from now on. It will be like this…
Hey – our compadre LAchlan from Sydney just showed me this – from my own damn backyard. This is pretty cool. A Homeless banner – click and donate. Click and the banner heats up. Really clever. It is Stockholms Stadsmission who is behind it. And the agency is called Garbags Agency. Good job.
Two pretty cool…and very japonais versions of how AR may be used in the future. Reminds me of Ironman’s robot…in the films.
Check out a lot of very cool digital stuff…106 bits in total actually: The creative internet (106 things) . Google’s creative lab collected this. Thank’s for that.
